Save Our Streets Crown Heights - Consultation /
Educational Development

Save Our Streets is a non-profit youth organization that facilitates events and learning opportunities for local youth. With this organization I have been contracted to perform live screen printing demonstrations at block parties throughout Bedstuy and Crown Heights. Most recently, in order to support their new youth programming space, I have been tasked with specifying and purchasing equipment, and crafting skill development classes.
Sharkeye Creative - Screen Printer / Artist
June 2008 - current
Self employed business offering screen printing, illustration and design services. I am the sole proprietor of Sharkeye Creative, putting me in charge of all aspects of the business from scheduling and prioritizing projects, to budgeting and bookkeeping.
As the creative lead of Sharkeye I like to develop relationships with clients that lead to collaboration and frequently draw from my other interests and skill sets such as photography, animation, and personal hobbies.
Le Noize - Photography / Event Production
2012 - current
Self-started nightlife brand that incorporates event promotion and booking of live music, special events, and parties. As a party photographer who was documenting my own events, I built a network of other promoters, venues and artists with whom I would collaborate. Some of my favorite projects have included working with Recess Seltzer, Tierra Whack, Kinfolk, Broad City, PussyPower, Zebra Katz, Rough Trade, Old Blue Last, The Gramercy Ballroom, OvR Ride, Monster Track, Bust Magazine, and many more.
Clif - Event Activation / Crew Lead

Responsible for warehouse and vehicle upkeep, managing a crew of people hired to work events, and relay directives to a crew in a swift and straightforward manner. Respond directly to Clif Field Marketing Managers, take direction, as well as be flexible enough to take initiative and improvise as problems arise.

Spin Peaks Racing - Founder / Manager

Spin Peaks is a track cycling team based in New York City, racing at Kissena Velodrome in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to expand and diversify the landscape of competitive cycling by promoting emerging women, trans, and non-binary riders. Through sponsorships, fundraising, team training, and community involvement we provide racers with the funding, opportunities, and confidence they need to compete and advance.

A loosely knit 'post-collective' focused on the inclusion of creative individuals in the creation of artistic works without the pretension or bias of education or experience.

Spent a year completing the intensive graphic design program at Vancouver Community College that prepared us to be hired out of the program fluent in Adobe CS, HTML, CSS, Flash, Dreamweaver. As well as methods of brainstorming and problem solving to create beautiful work that met the needs of clients.

Sept 2007 - Dec 2009 I worked full time on learning as much as I could about a variety of interests that inspired me including printmaking, book binding, animation, illustration, branding, surface design, typography, print media, Design Research and Methods, creative process.
