Education 2006 - 2011 Emily Carr 2005 - 2006 Vancouver Community College Proffesional Experience 2008 - current Screenprinting I run my own small scale six colour screenprinting press focusing on small runs and am not afraid to experiment when given a special request. 2006 - current Freelance Design / Web Since my program at VCC I have been building my portfolio as a web and graphic designer. I am always focused on creating the best solution for each individual client, and am comfortable working on both web and print projects. 2009 Donnelly Hospitality Management DHM hired me as their online content manager for a contract that was only intended to last for the summer but ended up stretching nine months long. I alone was responsible for everything that represented them online. This included a website for twelve venues, three blogs, all related events on four separate promotion websites (clubzone, clubvibes, UQ events and nightbat), editing photos and building an online network on facebook and twitter. 2007 - 2009 Peanut Gallery In 2007 I started and operated The Peanut Gallery with help from friends for just over a year. It was a small venue / gallery run out of a basement in downtown Vancouver. Over that time I worked with many artists and musicians to make it an inclusive space where people with ideas could approach me so we could collaborate to make their event a reality. This was a response to the lack of rooms that are available to showcase artists and musicians entering into the scene, and the lack of live music venues in general.
